Description of 1971 Pontiac Firebird Base

Here's a chance to be the first to drive this newly painted '71 Firebird in a very rare and cool 70s color! She's ready for the road or Summertime car shows--I just spent over 12K on paint and body bringing her back to her original glory: Tropic Lime Paint- GM Code 43. Completely rust free- the car was media blasted down to bare metal and painted using the highest quality SPI products and I have over 100 photos documenting the body work. I've included a few chronological photos of the body restoration with the last one being how she looked when I bought her.
There's 94K Miles on this '71 Beauty and just may be the most solid 2nd generation 70-73 GM F-body you'll ever see. This 'bird has been babied all its life and lived in an Alabama garage since new. She was owned by a nice southern lady for 23 years and then stayed in the same family for the next 23 years until I bought her in January. She's got her original Pontiac 350 2bbl engine & Turbo 350 automatic transmission which is likely why she survived the 80s-90s without abuse.
I had every intention on keeping her forever which is why I spared no expense on the body. Unfortunately, things happen and my home construction went over budget leaving me with no garage and only 100 yards from the ocean where she'll be exposed to the elements. I've installed brand new front seat upholstery & carpet, and new Hurst Dazzler wheels & Cooper Cobra tires with less than 20 miles on them. Factory Air Conditioning.
The drivetrain is unrestored and unmolested. She's still using points ignition & has original style single exhaust.
She's had only the slightest modifications & in my opinion is more beautiful than the day she left the factory. We deleted the Green Vinyl Top and replaced the flat hood with a factory long snorkel Formula Hood, I added a Factory Spoiler, and replaced the original faded & worn moss green carpet & rear package shelf to black. Yes, we changed the heater core before re-assembling the car!
