I have too many projects, so I am selling my '68 Pontiac Catalina two door hardtop. It has a 400 engine and TH400 automatic transmission. Power Steering, power brakes, and add-on air conditioning. It has not been started or driven down the road in several years, so plan on going through a few things to make it roadworthy again. This is a Western car that does not appear to have ever seen road salt. Nice solid frame, rockers, fenders, quarters, doors, etc., with only minor rust and dents as pictured.Floors inside the car are solid but the trunk floor will need some patchwork. There is no recent hidden body work - it may look like it is in primer but that is just the faded red original paint.The paint is weathered and the interior needs to be fully redone from too much sunlight over the years. The original vinyl top is long gone, and the roof is in great solid condition. Overall, this is a very solid un-restored and un-molested project car. You could just get the car running and drive her as she looks (that's what I would do) or it would be a good candidate for a full restoration. Either way, it's a neat old car that you don't see often and you would definitely draw some attention at your local cruise night. No reserve, so bid to own. The car is located about 70 miles southwest of Chicago.Clear Illinois title in my name. It is sold as-is, where-is with noguaranteesof any kind. Payment must clear before vehicle is removed.
