Description of 1967 Pontiac GTO GTO

On July 4, 1967 C.W. Bittner took delivery of his special order 1967 GTO 400 HO 4 Speed Convertible from Hansford Pontiac, in Minneapolis, MN. He ordered the car in Montego Cream (Code T) with a black top (2) and black interior. He ordered it with a power top, console, power steering, sport wheel, walnut shift knob, console, door edge guards, power steering and a 3.55 posi.
Ole C.W. drove the car in the summers from 1967 until the spring of 1975, when he gave the car to his son, for his 18th birthday present and high school graduation present. Jeff Bittner drove the car to his senior prom with his high school sweetheart, and eventual wife. The car still has the picture of Mr. Bittner in high school and his prom dates garter as well as his 1975 tassel. In 1977 Bittner married the woman who passed away of cancer in 1979.
Jeff kept the car in his garage driving it sparingly garnering only 87,000 miles on the car in aggregate.
I purchased the car and went through the completely original drivetrain, making it leak free and dead reliable. The car wears most of its' original paint, which, while it has some touch ups, is very straight and rust free. The interior is completely original including the carpet and looks great. The convertible top is original to the car as well, and the rear window is suprisingly opaque!
Tops of 1/4 panels are date coded as well as fenders.
Everything works on this car and it is ready to go. The car needs nothing, even all 5 tires are new reproduction red lines. The car wears Rally I wheels as well. This GTO does not rattle, shake, shimmy, pull when stopping, and everything works, the way it should. This GTO will get rubber in all 4 gears, if you ask it to.
There is no rust issues on this car nor were there any.
The car is numbers matching from the air cleaner to the oil pan, from the radiator to the rear end.
This is a true survivor 1967 400 HO 360 HP 4 speed convertible.
They are only original once, and this car has everything you could ever want!

Correction: Intake manifold cast 5/14/67 not 5/14/78...typo. Thanks GTO Jim who went through the car with me today and the kind words about the car.
