1977 SE Y82 W72 Trans AM 4sp

Real deal 77 SE Y82 (T-Top (HURST)) 4sp W-72 car. Black deluxe interior. Tilt wheel. AM FM 8-Track car. NO AC or other power robbing accessories. Car is basically an unrestored rust / accident free 1 very nice repaint (12-15 yrs old - not jambed) car. My brother and I are the 3rd owner(s). ALL paper work and receipts. Motor has been prof rebuilt and is .040 over, .010/.010 crank, heads cut, crane cam - everything new about 6k miles - not show detailed tho. Untouched engine bay, aside from the nifty braided hoses by the previous owner. lol. Runs super strong and cool - no leaks. I've sent the wheels out to be restored ($2500) and bought new tires, bought a new NOS Gen II rearbumper cover, as the original was warped, freshened theoriginal and very nice interior w new carpet, GM door sills, pkg tray, and headliner. Dash has NO cracks or mods as does the entire wiring harness under dash and engine compartment. Car has never been apart and retains every bracket, keeper, mount etc as came from the factory. We've owned this car for 12 yrs and driven it maybe 1500 miles. Been in dry storage in NM mostly. I did replace the factory muffler and tailpipes, not due to rust but previous to myownership someone backed into a curb and kinked the tail-pipes and beer-canned the muffler. Too bad as they were the original black-chrome tips in rust free condition. Also has new clutch/PP/TOB/and resurfaced flywheel at about 6k miles as well. NOTE: Interior is extremely nice and original except what I have noted, but I am missing the T-Top trim and seatbelt covers and neither is currently being re manufactured.

I have fought w myself since buying this car over a fullrestoration. I've done some 35 various level restorations including severalframe offs, and that was my plan for this car, but it's just to nice and original to mess with. It is an excellent candidate for a full resto! OR drive/show now and restore later - which has been my plan for the last 12 yrs and I cannot bring myself to do it even after all this time. Fresh tune and ready to go as well since out of storage.

This caris a time capsule. Driven carefully by the original owner(60 yrs old)in fair weatheruntil he sold it to his nephew (IF I remember correctly) who had the motor done and the 1 repaint b4 selling it to me. EVERY num / date matches, from the original carb (I sent out to have done) to the distributer to the exhaust manifolds. And again, a folder full of bodyshop pics, receipts, build sheet and varioushistory. Won't find a nicer better equipped SE 4sp W-72 TA this original for even twice the money.
