Description of 1968 Pontiac GTO

Up for offer is a very nice 1968 GTO. It is in very nice condition with lots of new parts and pieces and a very large amount of extras / old and new parts / finishing touch up parts! I will list these at the end. Feel free to contact me for pictures of the extras etc.
The GOODComplete new paint job including door jams, under hood, and trunk lid. Also ALL NEW is: BAER disc brake kit up front, carpet, upholstery and foam on buckets and bench seat, dashboard, headliner, door panels front and rear, steering wheel, shift knob, radiator, hoses, belts, battery, battery wires, alternator, air cleaner, oil(synthetic), filter, cap, wires, plugs, BFG tires, aluminum wheels, hood hinges, brake booster and master cylinder, rear bumper(powder coated), wing windows and seals, windshield, side windows-front and rear, locks and keys, trunk seal, inside door kick plates, rear shocks, windshield wipers, and more that I can't think of.There is no kinks in the hood, cylinder pressure test is consistent and good in all cylinders, the car has roller rockers, edelbrock intake and carb, stock exhaust manifold, power windows, power lights, power seat, transmission recently serviced and in good working order, I have a book full of receipts with over $8000.00 in new parts, powder coated trim pieces, the body is rust free (I have pictures of before the paint job if requested), the doors do not sag.
The BADItems not hooked up: dashboard gauges, horn, headlight vacuum canister, wipers, glove box-box (included in extra parts), transmission electronic downshift wire(automatically downshifts when your hard on the gas), lower body trim and GTO badge(powder coated and in parts included), door seals(brand new and included)When i reinstalled the windows in the doors, I was unable to get them to go all the way up(half an inch from the top probably need an adjustment that I don't know how to do), The speedo was not connected when I purchased it so I do not know the actual mileage, the passenger side mirror glass is broken, it is not the original numbers matching motor, drivers door lock sticks when you lock it and its missing the door knob locking rod. There is some chipped paint inside the door jamb on both sides(I have more pics to show it), small chip on air scoop, The transmission cable needs adjustment(the shifter isn't quite where it should be in the track-cosmetic only)center console has some damage, no fan shroud, no stereo.The front bumper alignment is off a bit(see pics), there is a paint drip just behind the driver side rear window(see pic, hard to see).
This car has been reliable and fun to drive. I have had it a few years and would be happy to keep it if not for other items needing attention at my house. I am very sad to see it go.It is not perfect. It is almost 50 years old. The car is being SOLD AS IS with no warranties, implied condition or mechanics this is a 49 year old vehicle.However, it is in very nice condition, very clean, no smoking or pets, and it drives very nice. I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability and have shown pictures to also describe the vehicles condition. I have more pictures available upon request. Extra parts etc that comes with the car: new door seals, new body bushing kit, lower body trim pieces, GTO emblem for front fender, extra steering wheel, extra seat belts, extra valve covers, old dashboard, rear electric heater assembly, extra rear quarter windows, wing windows(one with frame), one door window, original door panels, original hood hinges, one tailight lens, vent/heat knob assembly, extra working power window motors, rear side marker lenses, the list goes on and on! So many extra parts! I am happy to send more pictures of the extra parts I have laid out. I only included one picture of parts.
