Runs, rides & drives excellent because it has been kept in a climate controlled garage it's whole life.
Driven fairly regularly from April,1979 purchase date until parked & stored in 1988.During this 13 year period it was randomly started, driven & routinely serviced to maintain excellent running & driving condition. Owner gave it to his son in 2001 with 27,000 original miles. Basically parked in climate controlled garage & stored under car cover until now. Son drove vehicle at least once every 2 weeks less than 200 miles a year. He has started & warmed up the car once a week for the last 17 years. He has also had regular service & check ups performed on the vehicle during this time. This kind of care is why this vehicle is in perfect running, driving & near original condition today as when purchased brand new in 1979.
Regular oil changes & maintenance checks have been done since owned with synthetic oil run in motor since it's purchase. Have all original documents, paperwork, sales books, manuals, odometer statements, registration receipts, BUILD SHEET, etc. NOT COPIES. Vehicle has all original labels in trunk, glove box, door panels etc. & all numbers matching plates & badges.
These are the only few things that have ever been replaced or repaired on this vehicle:
2001 - Original radiator, belts & radiator hoses - Plugs & wires
2003 - New tires installed
2008 - Interior carpet & front dash cover - Driver & passenger seat bottom only recovered in vehicle correct material
2013 - New mufflers & Flowmaster Exhaust
Windshield wiper blades have been replaced. Original wiper blades are in the trunk.
Everything else on this vehicle is Pontiac installed original & was on vehicle when purchased.
Adult driven always & owned by same family since new. Son registered car in 2010 for tax reasons.
Original title & new current title are same last name same first initial.Basically a one owner car. Arkansas title always since new.
This vehicle is 1 of only 2900 of it's kind ever built by Pontiac. In it's original & low mileage state possibly believed to be in a group of less than 300 left in this condition.
Paint & body are in excellent condition with few scratches or dings. Never detailed, touched up or repainted.
This car detailed would look brand new. It is a real collectors dream car. Very little is needed to make it perfect.
No rust to floors, trunk, frame etc.
Original jack never removed from trunk, stow away spare never used, original tire inflator
Original like new T-Top covers in trunk
This vehicle will not do anything but increase in value. It is a great investment to have & enjoy. It's a great piece of muscle car history, the legacy of Pontiac & The Bandit.
Can't say enough about the originality of this beautiful car. Pictures do not do it justice.
This car was driven out of the garage where it was stored for the last 30 years. You can see it's original state not buffed up or polished to look better. It is what you see.
