NOTE: This GTO was consigned 7 months ago by its owner to a company called Vehltor to sell. However the company principal had a health issue, before the ad to sell this GTO could be advertised, the company closed. Vehltor company provided us with all the photos and videos they had taken; and Vehltor gave us permission to use them - which is why you see all of them in this ad.

The Vehltor company no longer has this GTO (do not call their number, if you do, they will pass the message onto us). ABOUT 2NicePeople (at eBay): Phoenix Odyssey, LLC. dba/ 2NicePeople.(com) a Florida Corporation, we are authorized by the owner of this 1967 GTO as their representatives to market this GTO and find new owners. We have power of attorney to complete all details on behalf of the seller who owns it. We are not a licensed motor vehicle dealer (but are a retired vehicle dealer). We do have almost 40 years of experience in every aspect of the vehicle industry. We are able to and here to guide you as the buyer(s) though all aspects of completing your vehicle purchase.

ABOUT THIS 1967 Pontiac GTO Muscle Car; and it's owner:

One of the owner' most fond memories is when he took this GTO to a National Auto Parts (NPD) car show - it took Muscle Car Review Editors Choice Award. This GTO has won lots of trophies, he continually gave them away to others at the shows. Everything is believed to be original on this GTO - original interior with the exception of the carpet that has been replaced.

The present owner resides in Central Florida. He acquired this GTO in March 2014 (going into the 5th year) - since 2014 he had many things done. $10,779.41, plus $6,000 in paint (no body repairs). Receipts and more information is in different areas of this ad. He hopes the next owner has as much fun and enjoyment as he has had creating memories. We're assisting him to find a new owner. He purchased it at eBay, acquired it from Naples FL.

Speedometer works, both mileage and speed, have had it calibrated to correct speed. Mileage showing on the odometer is actual mileage. DMV (FL Dept Motor Vehicles) erred when it was being re-titling to him as owner. FL automatically as it was over 10 years old listed mileage as exempt. You will receive a mileage affidavit from owner stating miles shown are actual miles.

The $6,000 in paint: This GTO was taken back to bare metal, NO RUST. The paint started with three coats primer, then eight coats of finish, then four coats clear (1000 gritted). Then three more coats clear (1000 gritted again). Then pinstripes were painted on, clear coated again (then 1500 gritted again), then was polished out. The paint work was done first, then the engine work.

The $10,779.00 was spent rebuilding the engine, front end, rear end, posi and axles. Including painting engine compartment, everything painted back to original factory colors. See repair receipts in this ad. Then a new vinyl top was added, top time chrome trim rechromed.

Matching numbers. $10,779 was spent on the engine rebuilt, balanced. (bored out 30 over), trans rebuilt (326 ratio), new synchronizers - drive shaft balanced. factory 4 speed hurst. Rear is 12 bolt 69c Chevelle, rebuilt posi and new axles. While the engine was out, the front end was completely taken apart, new bushings. Drives down the road straight, let go of wheel, no play in the steering wheel. Tires are 3 years old, battery a year old. Accelerates quick (see videos), drives smooth and handles beautifully.

Present owner had a "Modern Sound for your Classic" RetroSound Model Two AM/FM w/ USB Input radio player installed. It has two USB connections (in the glove box). Also has two auxiliary plug connections (see photo of glove box with connections. digital blue tooth (USB connections can be used to connect your iPod, iPhone into either USB input (and as a phone charger). Has connections for 4 speakers. The original AM radio also comes with this GTO.

Mileage Shown on Odometer
is believed to be Original Miles

ABOUT
THIS COLLECTOR
VINTAGE VEHICLE

1967 Pontiac GTO
2 Door Hardtop
Sports Coupe

The GM factory ad says it all!

TIP: Make sure you look at the qualities this
GTO has - read all the written information in ad.

The GTO has proven over the years to have had a profound impact on American motoring history, and is recognized as the absolute machine the GTO turned out to be.

Coming from the Pontiac LeMans model, the GTO arrived on the scene to capture the hearts and minds and capitalize on baby boomers' love affair with big performance of the V8s, fast cars and the driving frenzy of mastering the freshly paved interstate freeways across the country. The 1967 Pontiac GTO was the original muscle car, and for very good reason.

It came with a massive 400 cubic-inch (6.5-liter) V8 engine under the hood with a Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor fuel system. This mighty power train is impressive even by today's standards.

Coming with more safety features like front disc brakes (power), an energy-absorbing steering wheel column and more safety features were added for 1967, too. We certainly want to acknowledge Pontiac's historic "Wide Track" performance.

There were few differences on the 1967 GTO from the previous year. Most notable were the twin pin stripes along the upper belt line and body side accent moldings were slightly revised.

The 1967 Pontiac GTO has the following external features:
• The Rally I wheel (which was the same 14" x 6" design as appeared on the 1966 GTO). The Rally II wheels were designed to accommodate the optional disc brakes (which this GTO has).
• Wheels were originally fitted with wide oval redline tires, or a whitewall as a no cost option (white walls is what this GTO has).
• Side badges placed on the lower mudguard sill behind the front wheel on both sides (positioned lower than the 66 model).
• The 1967 model has a matt black grille frame, surrounding the criss cross grille pattern, as opposed to the aluminum frame on the 66 model. (see images for a better description).
• The criss-cross pattern on the front grille (as opposed to the vertical and horizontal pattern found on the 66 model).
• The elevated hood scoop remained the same as the 66 model,
• The chrome work around the tail lights flattens out on the 1967 model, and the previous louver style tail lights are replaced by the eight lens style lights.
• The 1967 model deleted the center Pontiac badge (between the tail lights on previous GTO models).

Then the interior: 1967 GTO's came with vinyl interior fabric. The carpet color was usually matched according to the seat trim color, unless specified otherwise by the purchaser.

Other interior features of the 1967 GTO included:
• GTO badge on the passenger side dashboard.
• GTO badges on the door cards (see example in images).
• Timber laminate dash and console panels.
• 120 MPH speedo.
• Optional features (this GTO has): Walnut shifter knob, trunk & spare tire cover mat, Front and rear Pontiac floor mats, and custom sports steering wheel.

Remember the good ol' days ...

We recommend you base your decisions on what you read in our ad and see in the 375+ plus photos and what you see in our 2NicePeople Virtual Video Tour. We are thorough and detailed, yet there still may be questions you have.

That said, your satisfaction is our utmost goal and focus — please do us a favor: As you read through the entire ad and view all the photos and videos, jot it down when you spot something of interest to you, or see something you have a question about. We will be delighted to get you the answers in short order so you can make your best informed decision. We invite and welcome your input, opinions, comments, and questions.

Let us know - just contact us, thanks!

NOTE: We like to show you all of the details we noted -- so we use close up photos as much as we can. You will see we include many photos in our ads. Please be aware with close up photos things normally not visible such as the tiniest lint or spec of dust, in close-ups the lint or dust will appear magnified, huge — but just dust. When you're looking at the vehicle in person you do not usually even see any of the lint or dust. So as the saying goes, excuse our dust <wink>.
This vehicle was photographed and videos taken while it was in storage. This vehicle condition shows how she has been pampered by her owner. Being this was pulled out of storage to do all the pictures and videos, she has not been cleaned; we have found the new owners like to do things and use products they like when cleaning. Some photos in this ad because of lighting conditions may appear unclear (or appear to have shadows). No matter how many photos we try and do show, the vehicle always looks better in person. You will absolutely love her when you first lay eyes on her!

-----

Comments
Knobs, levers, headlamps, horn, wipers, tail and signal lights, etc have been checked by an outside vehicle service company that inspected this vehicle — things on this vehicle are in proper working condition, no worries! (If something was found something anywher, see NOTE below and red text.)

Interior: Exceptionally well preserved inside, most of it believed to be the original. The carpet was replaced, one small wear spot on driver seat side vinyl, one tiny tear down at bottom of driver seat back, couple tiny nicks in the driver door top trim inside Other than that, again, she's an original. Otherwise see the photos which shows the entire vehicle is outstanding and appears in exceptional condition. Seats, door panels, dash, glass are all in excellent condition. Please review the ad text description in all areas and captions under the photos for any details about condition of the interior.

Exterior: Exceptionally clean and solid in every way - all around, underneath (see all photos). The present owner has driven this on a regular basis, not a trailer queen. But you could hardly tell that from the beautiful exterior. Driver side rear window edge rubber has some age splits, all other rubbers on this GTO are in great condition. A few under the paint imperfections. Chrome trim on the vinyl top near the body panel that was re-chromed has a little wave. Anything we mention noted - you can see it in blem areas section. Overall the exterior has that 'wow-ability'.

Mechanically: The engine fires right up, runs so smooth. Pump the pedal twice and away you go. The mechanic who inspected this 1967 Pontiac GTO comment was "over all nice GTO". It deed she is. Just a couple things were noted: A couple notes on the mechanic inspection - very slight oil leak believed to be rear main; transmission tail shaft seal slight leak, needs new water gasket where inlet bolts to head (slight water leak from the gasket on the manifold). See vehicle inspection dated Jan 16th 2018.

Just fill it up with premium gas and this rocket will soar to high speed smoothly!! Enjoy the 2NicePeople Virtual Video Tour as you accompany us on a road test and experience this fantastic vehicle out on the open road. Other than mentioned items nothing else known is needed. Please review description for other details.

-----

BLEM AREAS SECTION

As you can see the paint imperfections and blems are hard to see until you get up close, this GTO is beautiful in every way. Absolutely in amazing condition, none of the appearance items affect functionality in any way.

TEST DRIVE COMMENTS:
This vintage GTO drives really super fantastic in our opinion. We are not experts, but we can tell you it has lots of power and accelerates quickly, brakes and steering work great (as you will see in the video). It drives straight down the road, muscle car rumble and we so enjoyed our drive. We again, found no issues other that what was noted in the blems section and in the inspection report, ready for the open road.

ABOUT 2NICEPEOPLE

We are 14 year long established eBay Sellers - with 100% Positive Feedback. Our photos and words clearly represent our items. If you have any questions, please contact us through eBay or you can call us at 352-358-4181. Pleaseknow thatcolors you see may vary depending on quality of monitors and their settings, and therefore we cannot be held responsible for item colors looking slightly different in person. Any measurements,
although carefullytaken, are approximate; please consider them as guidelines.

Please base your bids and purchase on two things: Pictures and text, both of which are equally important parts of the description of a listing. Considering both helps to assure that what you purchase here is exactly what will soon end up on your doorstep. And we thank you very much!
