Description of 1986 Pontiac Trans Am |
| I have a1986 Pontiac Trans Am with a clean Texas title. It has been sitting for a couple of years but it was running/driving when I parked it. And the engine did not smoke or have any knocking. It has a 305 V8 700R4 Automatic transmission with only 102 k miles. Flow master exhaust system. This car is complete. I just have too many project cars. The body is extremely nice never wrecked without any Bondo and absolutely zero rust! I have it up on bricks as to not damage the tires. That is why it looks high under the fenders. I can't get the hood open. It may need to have the oil pump tightened up because the lifters were clacking. Needs paint clear coat is flaking off. Buyer pays for any and all shipping costs! Buyer makes all shipping arrangements! I swapped out the original 1986 hood because I like the 1983-1984 hood better than the stock 1986 hood. I also like the older rear wing and taillights better than the stock 1986. So I replaced them. If you want the original hood I still have it and it is in excellent condition. Please see the last photo at the bottom of this ad to see a photo of the original stock hood. If you want the original hood I will trade for the one that is on it now your choice.
