Description for Pontiac Catalina 1966

Here's one of Pontiac's rarest automobiles, 1966 2+2 WH code 421 Tri-Power with the Hurst 4 speed transmission.
In 1966 only 547 of these 2+2's were made, and this has got to be one of the rarest, and very nicest of them all. This car is factory original, blue, white interior, white vinyl top, WH code 421 Tri-Power car. Very high option car 421, 3x2 Tri-Power WH code, Factory A/C, Tilt Steering, 4 Speed Transmission, Bucket Seats, Center Console, SW Tachometor, Barrier Blue with Parchment White Interior, Vinyl Top, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Retractable Seat Belts, Optional Lights, Floor Mats, they're still the original floor mats in the car! Everything is original in this car.
This car has been kept in a personal collection for a very long time, it only has 56K original miles, and it's never had any work done to it!
I have all the documents, original purchase order/receipt, window sticker, owner manuals, warranty book. I can send pictures of these items upon request.
By 1965 auto makers where struggling to keep muscle car sales alive, the Vietnam war had really settled in, America's economy was in a recession, young men were being drafted like crazy, the era of large muscle cars with big gas guzzling engines had all but died, so by 1966 Pontiac wasn't even offering these 2+2's with the 421 engine as a production automobiles, only offering them as options only. Therefore a mere 547 of these 2+2's with the WH code 421 Tri-Power engines found 547 lucky owners who took the time to special order these treasured automobiles. Now, once you factor in the all the options of this car, the rarity becomes staggering.....blue, with upgraded white interior, white vinyl top, WH code 421 Tri-Power engine, center console 4 speed, factory a/c, tilt steering, 8 track player, upgraded interior lighting package, side marker lights ( you never see these) and everything works perfectly except the clock. Good luck ever seeing another one like this again. Even the wheels were added in 1966, these are original 1966 American Racing Magnesium Wheels, not modern reproductions! This car runs, and drives so wonderful, it's amazing, smooth easy clutch, the shifting is as smooth as butter, effortless to change gears, no chatter, no weird rattles, and powerful, you'll be so impressed with driving this car.
Today, somebody will be so lucky to have the opportunity to own this automobile and call it theirs, surely this is a chance of a life time to own this 1966 2+2 WH code 421 Tri-Power V8, Hurst 4 speed manual transmission 3:40 posi rear end. Since this car has so many upgraded options, and it's blue and white color combination, this could possibly be the only one in existence. It is my goal to find someone who will surely appreciate and love this car, it deserves another owner who will preserve it for the next several years to come. I was asking a lot more money for my car, now I have lowered the price by a big margin, and truthfully I would like to find it a new home sooner, rather than later.
