The actual Smokey and The Bandit T/A was a 1977 model. The movie made the car so popular that even the 79 T/As are still popular.

Again we can't say enough about this original interior.

The gauges are all working as well as the clock.

According to the current owner, the mileage is actual.

The original dash is in really good condition.

The side panels in the rear seat area are the only thing that really show their age and wear.

The rear package tray is like new.

You can see the original dealer logo on the car. Purchased in Ballston Spa in upstate New York, the car certainly does not show any signs of having been in the north east for much of it's life.

There are custom made seat covers to protect the original front seats when driving the car.

You can see the scratches in the original paint and there are some small ares of fading which we show in another photo.

The smoked glass T-Tops are in excellent condition. There are no scratches on them at all. These tops are almost impossible to find if they get damaged, and are one of the most popular features of these Trans Ams.

The front part of the dash is showing some fading.

There is this one blemish in the windshield.

The paint really does still look good for being 40 years old. You could enter this car at any show in the unrestored or survivor class and do very well.

This front plastic area has a lot of road rash, but the main part of the body is still good. Again, remember this is an un-restored car.

The 403 V-8 runs strong. The current owner happens to be a mechanic and he has kept this car in excellent running condition. He said he would not hesitate to fill it with gas and head anywhere in thecountry.

The undercarriage is amazing. There is no rust on this car. The frame is solid and all you can see is a little surface rust her and there.

This is the one area of the car where you can see the paint getting thin. It's on the front passenger side fender.

The original Firebird decal has some discoloration, but how could it not after 40 years, unless of course you never drove the car.
