This is a no reserve Auction please have your funds ready. PHS documentation provided. Noctunre Blue with dark blue interior. ALL Original 57000 mile car except as denoted. Rust free example. The previous owner stated the following: Numbers match except transmission and tri-power. Mileage is original. 1964 GTO - Tri Power - 4 Speed - Positraction 57,000 original miles, Survivor PHS documentation is included with this GTO which was purchased at Packer Pontiac in Detroit, Michigan for $3415.83. One year later, the original owner took it back to the local Pontiac dealer and had tri-power and 4 speed added to the GTO as it came from the factory as a four barrel - automatic car. All GM and Pontiac ORIGINAL PARTS were used to convert this GTO. The GTO came from the factory with power steering and power brakes, tinted glass, and the $7.53 seat belt option. Pioneer Sound System with the CD player in the glove box with remote control. New complete dual exhaust. Color is Nocturne Blue with one repaint. Body and paint is very good. Interior is excellent. Chrome and stainless steel is excellent. Frame and chassis is excellent. Glass is excellent. Overall drive-ability is excellent with the power steering and power brake. Most 1964 GTO's came with manual steering and manual brakes on 4 speed cars. This makes the car very difficult to drive. As the cars matured 4 speed cars were equipped with power brakes and steering. THIS CAR IS FUN to drive, easy to steer, easy to brake and handles good for a 1964. car has never been in any accident or frame damage. Car will pass NY state Inspection. The cars title will be marked mileage exempt due to age. |
