Description of 1965 Pontiac GTO Tri-Power Hardtop

1965 Pontiac GTO Hardtop For Sale, HO HO HO Dashing Trough The Snow In A 4Speed GTO!!!!!!!

PHS documented Tri-Power Super car, in beautiful condition, car was painted about 10 years ago original color (charcoal blue) lacquer, all sheet metal is original, car is straight and gaps are nice, there are small patch panels behind rear wheels on the lower quarters, that was the only place it was rusted, floors, trunk floor, rockers are original and very solid, left quarter had some dent repair. Partial resto not frame off in 2008-10. WS 389 engine, block date (K/8/4), head (K/8/4), head (J/30), intake however is a (C/17/5) or a (G/17/5) its very hard to see the casting, the car build date is 01C, so I would say the block and heads could be correct and the intake is not, this is a 1965 WS 389 and it was in the car when I purchased it. The 389 has had a complete rebuild balanced, .30 over bore, all done by a top notch machine shop, Keith Black pistons ram air3 cam, this car runs and drives as good as it looks, and its an old 65 Pontiac with 10.75 compression, so it has the power these cars had back in the 60s. The m20 4speed has been gone through and shifts beautifully, car has a 3.23 limited slip rear. This car has power steering and power drum brakes. The suspension has been gone through, everything is tight or has been replaced, exhaust is 2.25 with new chrome splitters, new ram air 3 manifolds, the interior has new repro seat covers from PUI, new rug, original door panels and original headliner. I Purchased this car in 2008 from a friend that bought the car in Tennessee in the mid 90s, and brought it up to New Jersey, so this car does not have the north east road salt rust that most of these cars have, all this work was done between 2008/10 and the car has about 1000 miles since resto/rebuild was done. I tried to keep everything as original as possible. This car is a great example of a survivor muscle car from the 60s.
