This is the ideal driver! Not a perfect show car but still a real head turner. Not a real GTO so the price is affordable. Has performance built mechanics ready to rock & roll. EXTERIOR: It is sexy. The paint is glossy, trim is bright and it rolls on Cragar rims! Yes there are some touch ups if you look for them, the chrome is not new but it looks slick. You will get compliments anywhere you go. The Cragar wheels and BFG tires look new. Has GTO scooped hood and emblems. The white convertible top is very nice. The top rams, pump and hoses were replaced. INTERIOR: Nice bright white interior, the door panels, armrests and upholstery we're all replaced. Carpets were replaced and it has Pontiac reproduction floor mats. The dash area has been repainted. Has a retro stereo with aux plug, molded kick panel speakers and speakers in back. There's also a gauge cluster mounted below the dash and a walnut steering wheel. New glove box liner. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Gotta have a tri-power in a GTO and this one does! It sits on top of a performance built 455 motor with Kauffman aluminum heads, performance and MSD ignition. Carbs were rebuilt and set up by an expert. Upgraded aluminum radiator with a clutch fan and proper shroud. Also features power steering and an upgraded power brake system with dual master. Everything in the motor compartment is very tidy and clean. Has a nice set of Pontiac aluminum valve covers. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's been boxed and carpeted. UNDERSIDE: Bottom of the motor is clean, starter looks newer. Performance built TCI Turbo 350 trans was built to handle up to 1,000 hp. Has chrome pan. In back it has a 12 bolt rear with new 3.55 posi. Brakes were all replaced and upgraded to disc in front. Rebuilt front suspension. New balljoints, swaybar, springs and shocks. Upgraded rear suspension with Hotchkis upper and lower control arms, sway bar, air bags in the coil springs and new shocks. I have had the expensive, pristine cars. My favorite memories were a 65 GTO clone convertible similar to this one. I used it quiet a bit and had a great time. The new owner of this car will have a great time too!
