Description of 1985 Pontiac Trans Am Trans Am

Up for sale is my 1985 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. I featured this car on my YouTube channel LegitStreetCars and like all my channel cars it's time to sell. I'll leave a link to the videos in this description and the 2nd video will tell you the complete story on this car but here it is in a nutshell.
This 1985 Trans Am was custom built from 1991 to 1994 by a guy named Rob Louisell. Rob is pretty well known as he has built some of the nicest KITT Knight Rider replica cars around. He also built and sold KITT parts like the custom dash and front nose so if you've seen a nice KITT car it probably has his parts. He also made the parts for the Knight Rider reboot in 2008! Rob fell in love with the 1988 Pontiac Concept car called the "Banshee." He bought this stock Firebird and spent 3 years custom building almost every body part to resemble the Banshee. After he was finished he sold it to a guy named Chris who owned it for 20 years. During his ownership it was always kept indoors and he put a lot of time and money into the car to increase it's performance. He installed a complete Jegs crate 350 engine that included everything from the Edelbrock carburetor and intake to the oil pan. He also installed headers and a Flowmaster exhaust, a brand new Jegs 700r4 automatic transmission with a mild torque converter, and many high quality suspension components. These include a Spohn Performance unibody mounted torque arm, rear sway bar and aftermarket shocks.
As you'll see in the videos the car was not running when I received it. Turns out it had been sitting for a while and I couldn't turn the engine by hand. The distributor was also not installed correctly but after spraying some oil in the cylinders and fixing the distributor and firing order it started right up. In the following episode a friend of mine came over and we tuned the carb to perfection. It now runs and drives really well with no smoke from the exhaust or weird engine noises. I do believe the CAT is slightly clogged but most people would remove that or replace it with a high flow CAT. The car drives and stops well and it handles great for an old 3rd Gen Firebird. It's not perfect as you'll see in the video's but from a few feet away it looks awesome and get's a ton of attention. The interior needs a good cleaning but it has really nice aftermarket seats and the T-Tops come on and off with no problem. The flip up headlights and windows work and and after you figure out the door handle situation (just watch the videos) you're good to go. It shows and was listed at the auction with 45,000 miles. That could be correct but I have no idea if it is.
This is a clean title car being sold by an honest seller who has literally documented everything in a few videos for the world to see. What you see in the video is exactly what the car sitting in my garage currently is. This is a no reserve auction so it will sell to the highest bidder.
