Our seller purchased this GTO while living in California, as a full restoration, approximatelytwenty years ago.He has since retired and moved to Savanna, Georgia.During his ownership, he has only driven it less than 8,000 miles. The odometer shows under 78,000 Miles. The overall condition is still "showquality" and it has been proven to be an outstanding, dependable driver as well. The paint is exceptional. The interior is excellent. The undercarriage is remarkable. The Suspension and Frame have beenPowder Coated. It has Boxed Rear Upper and Lower Control Arms, and all frame body mounts have been replaced with Polyurethane. He tells us that mechanically, it is "turn-key" ready.
During his ownership, it has had a number of Magazine mentions and has won numerous Trophiesand Awards at the Shows. Have you seen the Maisto 1:18 Scale Diecast Model of the 1965 Pontiac GTO Hurst Edition? He has the documentation that this is the car that the Model was created from.
