Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #2 (Amazing Custom Driver)

This is an absolutely gorgeous 1979 Pontiac Trans Am Pro Touring Custom in excellent condition inside and out. This car received a total subframe-off restoration whose builder had more than $130k invested into the car. By looking at this amazing custom you can definitely see where the money was spent as its a truly stunning car with a real sinister look to it. It is finished in black with gold hand painted stripes and logos and has a custom black interior. The interior is all new with custom sport seats in alcantara and with a leather dash and inserts and looks gorgeous. This car has the Fisher t-tops, limo tinted windows and a body straight as an arrow with excellent fit and finish throughout. This Trans Am has been modernized and upgraded all the way around including a built fuel injected LS2 V8, pushing about 500hp, Tremec 6-Speed transmission, Hotchkis stage II suspension, Willwood 4 piston brake, vintage air conditioning and the list goes on and on that really make it a one of a kind car and a true joy to drive. The car has only 615 miles on it since it was built so it has had any bugs worked out but is basically brand new. This car is on consignment with us from one of our very good customers. He bought this for his collection but he likes to switch cars a lot and we either buy them or put them on consignment with him. He is a very picky buyer and only buys the best cars and he did a really good job with this one too. You could never even start to build something like this for what we are asking for it so if you're in the market for one of these this is definitely the one to buy as it is turn-key ready and a real thrill to drive. Do not miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity to have an amazingly built custom Trans Am in your collection.

Exterior: *Condition #2

The exterior of this Trans Am is stunning and looks absolutely beautiful. It is finished in Black, with gold lettering, decals and pin stripes which are all under the clear coat. The paint has an amazing deep shine to it and you can tell that the builder really spent a lot of money on this one and that everything was hand-rubbed to a smooth as glass finish as it truly looks like a mirror. We really cant find any flaws on this car except for a couple very very minor rock chips that have been touched up on the nose if you want to get really picky. The body is super straight with excellent fit and finish and including the Fisher T-tops which fit and function perfectly. It has a shaker hood which was mounted on top of the LS motor which again fits perfectly. All the glass is in excellent condition and has a limo tint on them, new weatherstripping all the way around and the marker lights have also been tinted. It is sitting on custom 17" aluminum Trans Am wheels that look fantastic wrapped with like-new BFGoodrich T/A performance tires and red Willwood brake calipers. Overall the car looks amazing and is a very fun and exciting ride that you can jump in and drive right away and take to car shows or on weekend adventures and not have to worry about anything.

Interior: *Condition #2

The interior of this Trans Am is very nice and has all been completely redone in black. It has custom race seats in alcantara along with all the door panels. The dash is a leather dash pad and looks and fits perfect. All the trim and gold aluminum on the dash is excellent condition and really shines throughout the entire interior. The dash and gauge cluster looks beautiful and are very clean as well as the Hurst shifter. The steering wheel has zero wear on it and no flaws to speak of. It has vintage air conditioning on the dash that looks and performs beautifully and really fits into the build design as well. It has a custom JBL premium audio system installed that really sounds kick ass as well as a JBL touchscreen that includes bluetooth. All of the power windows work fast and smooth and there are no rips, or tears or any fading anywhere to be found. Again the builder really spent a lot of time and money on this build and is shows and it is absolutely gorgeous inside. The gauges are all expensive Autometer gauges and they all work exactly as they should. Everything appears to work in the car including the vintage air conditioning, power windows, audio system, clock, wipers, courtesy lights, gauges, and horn. Overall it is a beautiful interior and matches perfectly with the unbelievable exterior and its sinister muscle car look.

Mechanically: *Condition #2+

Mechanically this Trans Am is in excellent condition as it only has 615 miles on the build. Under the hood is a 500hp built fuel injected LS2 V8 mated to a 6-Speed Tremec transmission rated for 700hp. You can really hear that high performance sound with this engine as it is loud and really in your face. The car features long tube headers, custom 3" dual exhaust, a 9" Ford rear end with 3.73 gears and has been recently tuned at the dyno shop where it made close to 450hp at the wheels. The car runs and drives very nice, shifts excellent with very precise shifter movement and a fantastic feeling clutch. This car has been upgraded with Willwood 4-piston power disc brakes so it stops on a dime and completely straight with zero fade. Under the hood has been completely detailed to the same degree as the rest of the car and looks incredible. The battery is new as well as every other component and the shaker hood on top looks amazing. Absolutely nothing is needed to start enjoying this beautiful and very fast Trans Am.

Under Carriage: *Condition #2

The underside of this car is very clean, has very nice floors and is completely rust-free. You can tell they started with a very very nice car just by looking at how great all the sheet metal is underneath. The suspension has been upgraded as well with Hotchkis stage II suspension as well as Detroit Speed sub-frame connectors which give make the chassis very rigid with almost no body roll and zero rattles inside the car. You can see the incredible long tube headers and full custom 3" dual exhaust which really sounds super throaty and amazing. You know when you start this car that it has some big power under the hood. This car has been driven and enjoyed after it was built so the underside is a little dirty but if you spent half a day cleaning it you would have a show car underside where you could display it in all its glory with mirrors. Do not wait on this one as it will not last long as it is a one of a kind, perfect custom driver.
