The GOOD1979 Pontiac Trans Am, was originally brown on brown vehicle, previous owner painted it and refinished the seats in about 2012 to black on black with silver decals. Freshly rebuilt Olds 403 with rebuilt TH350 with stall. Rebuilt A/C box, new electric radiator fan and radiator, new distributor, new alternator. New windshield. Custom year one rims (black powder coated insides) I work out of the country, so keep the battery on a trickle charger. After a few months away, I came back and started the car on the first go round. It is nearly in daily driver shape for reliability, but I just do not have the time or room to keep it around anymore. Again, the drivetrain in this car is essentially new, with LESS THAN 500 MILES on it. When I bought it in 2013, it had an older motor in it, and I drove it overnight from Louisiana to Denver. Since then it has lived in a garage or southern California weather. Overall, for a 41 year old car, this is in great shape. Not a collectors piece, but it will turn heads on the road and will get you from A to B whenever you want a drive. THE NOT SO GOODPaint and decals are in decent shape. Some paint chipped here and there and the smaller decals should probably be replaced. The A/C compressor needs to be replaced. The driver side seat bracket needs to be repaired, either welded or just replaced. The car has been lowered and I would suggest raising it to original ride height for comfort. The headlights should be resealed as they have some condensation in a few of them. Previous owner decided to black paint all the trim pieces (windshield trim and door handles). It has an aftermarket radio and speakers. I am available to answer questions as the auction progresses. Please feel free to contact me and I will respond with any information I have. Since eBay decided to delete older auctions, I have lost some information on the engine build and this car previously. However, I am again available to answer questions you may have. Can and will accommodate pickup for shipping, etc.
