Description of 1968 Pontiac Firebird

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this immaculate 1968 Pontiac Firebird Restomod! This showroom condition example comes in a brilliant red paint job completed by a pristine black interior. Powering this street monster is a professionally built 6.2 liter LS3 V8 engine mated to a built T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission. Boosting the performance of the LS3 is a Edelbrock E-force supercharger, MTI stage 3 cam and all the supporting modifications. Additional upgrades include a Detroit Speed mini tub, Sub frame connectors, full Kooks exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, full suspension and much much more. Standard features include 4 wheel Wilwood power disc brakes, Detroit Speed power steering and more. This incredible package was tuned professionally by Walsh Motorsports to make over 640 wheel horse power on low boost and over 700 on 12lbs. Currently the vehicle is running on the conservative tune of 640whp but will come with the smaller pully for more power. This vehicle will also come with a dyno sheet to prove performance. This example comes to us from an elite private collector and as such has always been professionally maintained and properly stored. So, if in the market for a classic muscle car with all the power and performance of its modern counter part, this Firebird is for you. Please call or email us today for more information.
The Pontiac Firebird is an American automobile built by Pontiac from the 1967 to the 2002 model years. Designed as a muscle car to compete with the Mercury Cougar and Dodge Challenger, it was introduced February 23, 1967, the same model year as GM's Chevrolet division platform-sharing Camaro. The first generation Firebird had characteristic Coke bottle styling shared with its cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro. Announcing a Pontiac styling trend, the Firebird's bumpers were integrated into the design of the front end, giving it a more streamlined look than the Camaro. The Firebird's rear "slit" taillights were inspired by the 1966–1967 Pontiac GTO.
