Description of 1972 Pontiac Le Mans

This 1972 Pontiac LeMans mixes the right vintage pieces (like the numbers-matching V8) with all the right upgrades, including shining paint, sporty style, and an A/C interior. The result is a hardtop that's cool, classic, and all-around ready to run.
This is one of the most legendary design years for Pontiac. The LeMans coupe had a distinctly slippery style with the pillarless hardtop profile, form-hugging bumpers, and a hint of fastback in the rear. And this sleekness is really amplified thanks to a professional respray of the factory-correct Anaconda Gold. It really gives this the kind of luster that'll make you want to drive this on every sunny day. These LeMans coupes had a crisp style with a sharply-pointed front end, and we especially love how the flare of the front fenders extend all the way into the doors. It's no wonder the LeMans is so close to the GTOs. This one even likes to remind us of the GTO connection with the large rear spoiler, Rally II wheels, and quad exhaust tips. But the LeMans is also its own car with a mature style that has only grown more attractive with the decades.
The parchment interior is another nice touch. You have all the best pieces with taut door panels, a quality headliner, two wide benches for people to spread out, and black carpet that's hard to show dirt. Even the details are nice, like the wood-like trim on the dash and steering wheel of this vintage premium LeMans. The clean dash has a very classic style look, but they also took the time to integrate nice upgrades. For example, the factory AM radio is on display, but your real driving music comes from a modern AM/FM/CD stereo w/aux input that was built into a custom cup holder console. And the factory-style air conditioning controls are now backed by a system running modern R134a.
Under the hood is proper Pontiac power with the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. Just like the rest of the car, it has a stock look with a few of the right key upgrades. And the way this one fires up and runs smooth reaffirms the right respect and maintenance over the decades. There is a nice hint of rumble from the updated dual exhaust, but this Le Mans never betrays its comfortable cruiser heart. The three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front all make for a very pleasing anytime classic.
This is a true cruiser that has everything you want, including a sharp look, A/C interior, and an obtainable price. So don't let this distinct and premium LeMans end up in someone else's garage. Call today!!!
