Gorgeous 1967 Pontiac GTO that has undergone an extensiverestoration and looks amazing inside and out. High qualitybeautiful blue exterior paint compliments the smooth body. This was a color change as it was originally born champaigne. Dual headlamps, scooped hood, quarter vent windows, chrome front and rear bumpers along with polished trim all in excellent condition.
Under the hood sits the original 400 that was rebuilt during the restoration along with its 67 heads, numbers stamped on the heads and the engine indicate they are correct for the year. The engine bay is immaculate and very clean. 4 bbl carburetorwith dual air cleaner intake, however this can easily be converted back to a factory air cleaner by the new owner should you desire. The transmission is the original dual gate automatic that the car was born with from its Framingham Massachusetts GM Assembly plant, referred to as the his / her shifter.
The car gets its braking from power front disc and power rear drum which is all in excellentcondition. Underneath has all been restored with new brake lines, fuel lines, new fuel tank, new shocks, underbody coating, frame coating, as you can see in the pics the bottom is as clean as the top still having the decals on the flowmaster dual exhaust system.
All door sills and door trim,handles, locks, hood, trunk is in excellentcondition and all close very smoothly with no issues. The black interior is in perfect condition, front and rear seatbelts are in excellentcondition, as is the dash and all of its gauges. Everything works as it should includingthe dash clock, gaugesand lights. The sound system is an aftermarketpiece that maintainsthe original look as factory but with digitaltuning and works perfectly. This car is factory non air conditioned and has not been altered, the quarter vents work well when needed and aftermarketsuch as vintage air could be added by the new owner if desired. All trim and body lines are clean and of excellentquality with no issues. All of the cars glass is in excellentcondition.
The trunk is in excellent condition, it was coated during the restoration and comes with an originalfactory Pontiac spare wheel. This is a very nice quality car, no disappointments. I do not know the complete history of ownership but have confirmed it spentsome time in Maine according to the trunkload of trophies. I have never driven the car in wet conditions and do not believeit has ever seen the rain since its restoration.
The car starts easily every time, the engine runs strong and the car handles very well. I have comfortablycruised the interstate at 100mph with plenty more power to go faster but considering its age and what it is I never exceeded over 100mph.
