1980 Turbo Trans-amThis Firebird Trans-Am is in great shape for its age and is a solid candidate for a simple and easy restoration. The body panels are all solid and rust free and damage free. and have seen over 55 hrs. of sanding and prepping for a new paint job. Rocker panels . uarter panels. oors. enders. ood are all solid and all super smooth ready for paint. The factory 301 was replaced with a 6. 6 out of a 78 T/A from what i was told and will run with a tune -up(new plugs/wires) and carb rebuilt and a distributor. at the moment it turns over really nice and everything sounds proper The interior is all original except steering wheel and in fair condition for its age but needs revamped. such as carpet. eat covers. tc. The floor pans seem solid. only found couple small holes on the passenger side but would be easy repair. and same goes for the trunk pan only couple small holes to repair. The body of this Trans-Am is in great shape and has been sanded professionally and is very smooth and prepped for a new paint job. The lights work. lass in in good condition. nbsp;windshield has a crack. Brakes work good. doors open and shut properly. frame and suspension are in good solid shape. The exterior of the trunk lid is in good shape with no cancer but does have a little on the inside lip.
