Description of 1973 Porsche 911

1973 911 T Coupe in the highly desireable and rare Signal Yellow with Black leatherette interior. VIN number 9113103347

Many refer to this model as the "1973.5" due to the mid year transition from Bosch mechanical fuel injection to the Bosch CIS (Continuous Injection System)

The engine number matches the Porsche issued Certificate of Authenticity but as is typical with some Porsche's the transmisson number is worn away so I cannot say it is original to the car.

The mileage is considered to be accurate. The previous owner bought this car after it had been sitting for a very long time. The California title listed the mileage as 37,118 as "Actual Mileage" in 2008 . The current title still shows"Actual Mileage" of 37,118 as well. The previous owner bought the car and immediately wanted a top flight paint job on the car so he took the car apart and resprayed it in Glasurit in its original Signal Yellow color. After paint the car sat un-driven and95% finished for years until I bought it and completed the work. Since then the car has not been driven much so very few miles have been put on this 911.

This 911 runs and looks excellent. There is no rust in the car anywhere and the chassis appears to never have been in any accidents and is nice and straight as you would expect a well taken care of 911 to be. The underside is straight and clean.

Issues one may take with the car as I see are the following:

The trim around the fenders is an option and is original to the car. It was never put back on the car until recently and in some spots has a few blemishes.

As a matter of preference the PO did not put the rear panel/package tray back in the car but chose to use material to cover that area (see photos) . Looks very nice but may not be the preference of some.
I had Tony is So Cal recover the steering wheel to correct factory specs. The photos I have posted do not show the refurbished wheel. The steering wheel was nice before but had been recovered and was not 100% correct. It waswell donebut this car is so nice I felt the wheel really needed to be 100% correct.
Car has 15" Fuchs with Pirelli C36 tires.
Radio is not original to the car.
This 911 really needs nothing. As described there are a few areas where minor do it yourself work can be performed to bring the car to original specs for the absolute purest.

I will assist with shipping world wide but all cost are the responsibility of the purchasers.
