Description of 1978 Porsche 911 SC |
| For sale is my RUST FREE 1978 911 SC with 102. 00 miles with all documented updates. In 2005 with 96. 00 miles a previous owner had $9200 in updates done at Europa Macchina in Lewisberry Pa. New headliner (all new moldings) and sunroof cables. nbsp; new windshield( Front and rear window frames powder coated). ew wipers and washer jetsNew AC compressorAround the same time the pop-off valve in the air box was updated as well as the timing chain tensioner and fuel pump where updated. New Porsche brakes/tires all around and a third brake light where added. I purchased the 911 in August of 2014 with 101. 00 miles on the odometer with the intention of keeping it. I had our local Porsche Dealer perform a Porsche Yearly Maintenance PLUS:Replace oil tank/reservoir. rain plug and oil hoses and all attaching parts (Porsche tank alone was $1500)Replaced Bosch Platinum spark plugs. fuel filter and air cleanerReplaced front inner and outer sway bar bushings. new hood struts and flushed all fluids$4000 later the car runs like a dream!! Every gage works (including the clock). The dash. oor panels. nbsp;carpet and seats are in excellent condition (passenger seat has a two inch split in seam)The body is EXCELLENT and RUST FREE. Floors look new. Paint work was done in 05 and has some orange peal texture in the middle of the doors and a small spot on the hood and engine cover (below the wing). I am not sure if the metal was not prepped correctly or if its a clear coat issue. The paint was next on my list. In the last two years I have sold my 06 C4 cab. 6 cab and my97 coupe so I LOVE my cars.
