1980 Porsche 928- Car is more than can be expected for a 35 year old vehicle. Has been partially restored here and there other areas are as the were in 1980. I have a folder of records back 10-12 years and more for mechanical past that I have no information. MANY new parts and cosmetic updates. Runs pretty good has raspy rumble from newer looking exhaust,transmission shift well,tires are ok but have some minor cracks.Lights work,yes ALL of them,the tach and odometer do not work,the speedo works though and as I understand it the cluster is a common problem with these...that said true mileage isn't known as I have no idea how long it hasn't worked?! There is a brake pressure warning light flashing sometimes(goes on and off?) although brakes are hard and stop on a dime,maybe a sensor,I don't know? I'm selling no reserve,no nonsense and no warranty other than what I have stated above. It's a cheap running and driving race car that will need work to be your perfect dream car or you can just throw gas in it and haul azz as a fun weekend driver! I have clean title and I will assist with shipping best I can or you can come drive it home,your call?! It is what it is...... DO NOT FANTASY BID,just save us both the hassle please and thanks! SO IF YOU HAVE BID OR ARE GOING TO BID THIS IS A TYPO AND YOU MAY DROP OUT,BUT I SUSPECT LIKE ME YOU CAR LESS AS THIS CAR HAULS AZZ EITHER WAY,JUST E BAYS WAY OF MAKING AUCTIONS MORE COMPLICATED!!! ITS A 1980 WITH ORIGINAL MOTOR IN IT!!! AMEN Engine update....Its a PORSCHE 1980 928,NOT and S car,the motor is whatever came in the car!!!! |
