up for auction this is one of two known examples of a 1948 Porsche 356 No 1 proto type replicar was founded and made two cars before being defunk- they were originally sold with a vw type one air cooled motor. the msrp of that car was approx 80k in what would be considered stock fashion. which can be seen her in the recent sale of the only other known example. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1948-p ... ecreation/ Sold on 8/25/15 for $52,500 this was the starting point for this car, n which many additional upgrades were preformed. first Sold 2009 Make SPCNS Porsche Proto Type 365-001 circa 1948 Originally made by mark gomez AKA Vintagereplicar (now defunked) the car was purchased in 2012 with 435 miles on the vw type one motor. currently 2500 on chassis tube frame (no VW Pan) ca sb100 the car was then taken to FIBERSTEEL where Russ Rodriguez would spend the next full two years upgrading the following removal of type one motor Chassis Modification for Suby ej25 custom dual ceramic exhaust white porsche banjo wheel. transmission removal rebuild and ext. polish external trans case and intake manifold heavy duty trans upgrade parking brake modification underdash guage h20 temp bilstein coil over springs and shocks custom fuel cell 1/8" alloy shaped to fit radiator lowering and modifications to lower seat cushions. aluminum rocker panels below door, ound style L & R aluminum door panels (red vinyl inserts) aluminum door stills Driver mirror baffle inside fuel cell Full aluminum interior Correct peddles gas brake clutch upgraded clutch fly wheel stand alone ems system ecu programming and tune alum center console lic plate frame light. change to 550 cross member create radiator ducting system spindle change . disk brake drum skin kit. tumbler lock on engine cover panel Too much to list.. please see photos car runs great, ice power sounds fantastic the car is blue tagged and is located in southern California (Palm Springs area) additional pictures can be viewed in the gallery located here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/q53tpwxa0nsimbk/AAB5x7ATPZIga8w2y2e80hg7a?dl=0 TERMS & CONDITIONS: The car is for sale locally and we reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time before the end of the auction.
