Hello, I am listing this car for a friend of mine who does not do ebay. It is also for sale privately and could be sold at any time during the auction. The owner of this car is a Vietnam Vet, ex-Navy carrier fighter pilot who retired from the service and became a commercial airline pilot. He then retired from that occupation, but still had the "need for speed", and thus, purchased this car. So this has been owned & maintained by a pilot and aircraft mechanic who also employed a professional Porsche mechanic to make modifications & upgrades. The car is a 1989 Porsche Carrera Targa with 125,350 miles on that platform. The motor was professionally upgraded to a 1997, 300 horsepower, fuel injected, 993 motor that now has a total of 29,000 miles on it. This is a street legal car that he was taking into the competitive arena and......WILL NOT PASS CALIFORNIA SMOG...., as is without modifications, but it can be done if you were inclined to do so. It has cruise control & electric windows. The car features.... Porsche 930 brakes,a full roll cage with camera mounts, Recarro seats, Momo steering wheel, polished Fuch wheels and a front fairing. He says it is in excellent condition, no damage history, no leaks. There are a few minor issues like a missing center badge logo on one wheel, minor tightening on some accessories, etc., as this was put away in storage a few years ago and hejust hasn't had the time toworkon it lately, which is why he is selling it, to move on to other hobbies. The VIN # is...... WP0EB0917KS160394....All of the "0" characters are zeros. It is currently titled and plated in the state of Montana. The car is now physically located on the central California coast, in the Pismo Beach area, where it can be seen before purchase if you desire. There will be a $500.00 deposit due within 24 hours of purchase via Paypal. The balance will be due in person upon local pick up...AFTER the winner inspects the car and is totally satisfied with purchase.
