Description of 1983 Porsche 911

1983 911 SC Cabriolet-Euro Model-$34,000

93,000 miles (as of August 2016)

Clear Title, Accident free, VIN# WP0ZZZ91ZDS152075. (The string of 0's in the VIN # box above is due to the fact that EBay's listing system only recognizes cars produced in USA and Canada, not cars produced in Europe. The actual VIN# isWP0ZZZ91ZDS152075.)

I am the third owner of this numbers matching car. I have owned the car for 20 years. The car has lived in ID, AZ, and WA. It has always been garaged, no rain; and has been driven less than 10,000 miles during my ownership. This car is very solid, has been exercised regularly, and continues to be tight and very quick.

This car is an original example. Cosmetically, the car has minor dings, knicks, and scratches. The interior is slightly faded, and the seats are torn. Wheels are original, as is paint, interior, seats, headlamps, etc. The car has the original owner’s manual and complete tool kit. The top was replaced shortly after my purchase due to a tear (20 years ago), and is excellent condition. To the best of my knowledge the only thing that is not original is the radio, alarm system, and CD player mounted in the trunk. The A/C system has been removed from the car but the compressor mounting hardware seems to be in place

I have cared for this car but have left the maintenance to the professionals. Akers Porsche in Seattle has cared for the car since my moving to the Pacific NW (15 years ago) All suggested maintenance has complied with (or installed) including Pop Off Valve and Chain Tensioners. I have receipts and service records.

A car cover, miscellaneous 911 books, and original headlight assemblies convey with the sale.

I have been told it is an excellent “preservation class” candidate.

A real head turner and it’s “air-cooled” too!
