Up for auction is our highly-desired 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, black on black on white.

Manufactured in Stuttgart, Germany, in June of 1988, this 911 is dressed in rare mitternacht black with a brand new Haartz black power top, white linen leather interior and new convertibleboot. It's not a 100-point show car as there are a few areas showing normal wear but it's nicer than "driver condition", has low miles and would make a good investment. The mid 80's 911s are getting hard to find and are appreciating at ~ 5% annually.

All glass is in great condition. The body panels are straight from nose to whale tail. Bumpers are in fine condition. The car rolls on Fuch forged alloy wheels (16x6 in front, 16x7 in rear) tucked inside Yokohama rubber, A540s on the front, size 205/55R16 and AS430s on the back, sized 225/50R16.
Under the rear hood is the 3.2L air-cooled, horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection. It's hooked to a five-speed, bulletproof Getrag synchronized manual transmission with the shorter shift lever option. Just had a new, black Haartz power top installed in March 2016 and in July 2016 had the clutch master and slave cylinders replaced, brake fluid flushed, shifter components replaced and connections lubricated. Receipts provided.
The front and rear bucket leather seats and black carpet are in very good overall condition as are theinstrument panel,mirrors, black shifter, shifter boot and center console. Car has a Pioneer AM/FM stereo with CD player and Carrera floor mats. A/C needs connection. Steering wheel shows some wear. Up front in the trunk is a Porsche portable air pump and a Super Start battery. Car isequipedwith the factory alarm system and comes with the originalowner's manual, recent service tickets, stereo remote and clean AutoCheck Vehicle History Report. Solid, clean car inside and out.
