When I got the car I had planned on restoring it, then my health and finances.took a turn. So rather than see it deteriorate, I'm selling it. I have the original owners manual, shipping docs, and service log from the actual Porsche Dealer, shows it was shipped straight from factory in Germany to Scottsdale AZ.It was in storage from 1984 to 2014 and the owner would start and drive it occasionally for a few minutes just to preserve the engine and running gear. I got it in 2015 after the son let it sit for almost a year! I blew out the fuel lines from engine to tank as a precaution because the gas tank has some sludge in it and needs to be cleaned out. And I put a new fuel pump and filter in it. Everything else on the car is original, including the Blaupunkt a/m f/m cassette stereo.Body is straight, no rust, dents, or dings. Has good glass all around but the drivers door, it broke when I brought the car home. It's got original rims with Porsche center caps and I put a little taller and wider tires on the back. The headlights pop up and roll back down, it has A/C, and the Sun/Moon roof lifts out and stores in the back. It could use a good paint job, the paint is fading and the clear coat is peeling in places.The interior needs some attention it's very dusty from sitting, and the seats need covers or reupholstery, but again that's all original.I got an estimate that valued it roughly about $4800.00.
