Description of 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera

*NO RESERVE AUCTION*

Numbers matching all original except paint.Guards red withbrown leather interior. 182,500 miles. The car runs and drives great, pulls strong, does not burn oiland amazingly dripsno oil whatsoever. It is a rust freeand bodywork free car,The paint looks spectacular, the convertibletop is inexcellentcondition with a clear rear window thathasminimal surface abrasions. The interior is all original and shows typical weathering of a 33 year old convertible that was driven and enjoyedfrom a southern climate. The brown leatherseats are in very nice shape. That said, the patina of the interiordoesn't take away from the drive-ability of this car.Power windows, Power mirrors, Power locks,Power seats, all work fine. The clock does not work. The brakes are good. The battery is two summers old. The sound system isn't stock but itwas installed professionally and includes a sub woofer under the passenger seat, it sounds great. The car has A/C but it doesn't work. I removed the center console for more leg room andstill have it so it will go with the car. The wheels are the larger16 inch Fuchsoptions, they are all inexcellentcondition with no curb rash and the BF Goodrichtires are great. All the wheels are in the same condition as the one pictured.

I'm the third owner and have been in possession of it since March of 2012.The original owner was an Orthodontistfrom San Diego. It was given to his daughter who drove it to Atlanta for grad school. While the car was in Georgia it was involved in a minor parking lot scrape. Another vehicle backed into it in a mall parking lot, subsequently the left frontfender was replaced. This information proves true on a vehicle history report. From Atlanta it was sold to agentlemen here in Minneapolis in 2003. He didn't like the slight mismatch of paint on thatfender so the whole car was resprayed byLa Mettry's in Minneapolis.I have a decentamount ofmaintenance receipts that prove the history. During my ownership periodIt developed an oilleak at theoil temp sensor o-ring so thatwas replaced. It alsodeveloped a random miss which turned out to be the coil andthatwas replaced. These two issues are the full extent of the problems I've had over sixyears of ownership. A California Custom fitted carcover will be included in the sale.

Never been driven in snow and sparingly in the rain. Took it out of storage to take these pictures. The car hasneverdisappointedme, it's beenso fun to drive and has lots of awesome motoring years left. It would be a great addition to anyone's garage and deserves to go to a good home.I'll respond to all questions promptly andI'm open to the possibility ofhelping abuyer with arranging apre-purchaseinspection. I also have a video of it driving that I'll email to solid interested bidders. The title is clear and ready to go.

Good Luck!
