Description of 1984 Porsche 944

After 14 years of ownership I am giving up this solid piece of German engineering. Porsche 944 is known for its amazing handling and due to its unique 50/50 engine and transmission placement. Porsche 944's are still raced today and can leave 911's and many other vehicles in the dust due to superior performance. Upgrades and Maintenance:2003 Full Engine Rebuild of top end: Valves. Head. Timing. Upgraded Components - Oil Pump. Cooling and more. All timing belts. water pump. guides etc. 2004 Upgraded - High Performance -Clutch All oil changes from beginning of Ownership was with Full Synthetic - Performance fluids. All plugs and wires replaced - High performanceK&N Air Filters2005 High Quality Paint Job - Went with the original color. but upgraded with gold pearl that gives a beautiful depth. and Quality Top Coat - Paint is in excellent condition. but not show quality. 2006 High Performance - Broad Foot Racing - Cat Back 3" Stainless Steel Exhaust - Sounds amazing. Low rumble high compression Porsche Sound. Unmistakable! Added significant HP. Custom Built - Stainless Steel Grill. This was built by a master welder and is bolted directly to the connectors of the original bumper. The original bumper goes with the sale and will bolt right back on with original bolts. 2013 Installation of High performance speakers with amp and MP3 input 18" Wheels from a Porsche 996 with new tires all the way around with maybe 2000 miles. on them. 2014 High performance Gas Koni Shocks all the way around. 2014 Replacement of the Master and Slave Cylinder for the Manual Transmission Clutch. This car is very solid. and I would not think twice on taking it across country as it is a great road trip car for two people with the huge sunroof and massive hatchback of space and still gets over 27 mpg if you drive it easy. As this is a fully fuel injected high performance power plant. it is a blast to drive. but also super reliable unlike most older sports cars. I am certainly sad to see it go. but my family and business schedule does not allow for tooling around in this awesome piece of German History anymore.
