Description of 1957 Porsche Other

I have too many projects, and I need to let this Speedster replica go. I purchased it 3 years ago from Nevada, where it had apparently sat as a showpiece without being driven for some time, and spent some time getting it to run, stop and steer properly. Deciding it seemed kind of plain as it sat, I decided to do my own version of a Martini Tribute race car. Of course the decals could be removed and the car put back to stock, but it gets approving nods around here. It has a Nardi steering wheel and the seats are very correct looking replicas. The overall quality of this kit is very good.
Built by Classic Motor Carriages on a more desirable 1969 IRS platform, it's a running and driving car that needs very little to make really nice (some wiring and undercarriage cleanup). Includes full tonneau, top and plastic side windows.More pictures at my photobucket- Just cut and paste the following... http://s1140.photobucket.com/user/douglasmelvin/library/Speedster?sort=3&page=1Vehicle comes with a clean Nevada title, but it was registered on the CMC build number, not the chassis number as it should have been. The car will need to be inspected by your DMV to correct this.
The car is located just North of Berkeley California. Please contact me at the email or number on the card in the attached pictures if you are interested. Please ask questions and either arrange to see the car or have an agent see the car in person. If you bid and you win, it is not a jumping off point for negotiations. A non-refundable $500 deposit will be due immediately, with the full balance due in cash or bank transfer within a week of close of auction.I can deliver as far as Los Angeles at $1/mile one way.
This car is listed locally and I reserve the right to end this auction early. Waiting until the last minute to bid may not be your best strategy...
