Description of 1970 Porsche 914 |

Very rare and original 914-6 that was sold new at Art Bunker Porsche here in Kansas City.Art Bunker is very well known in the 914 circles. The car has been around KC all its life. We are the 3rd owner and have had the car since 2008. The interior is in great condition. Has a genuine wood overlay on the dash, near perfect seats, a factory console arm rest, blaupunkt radio, original dash which has a small crack repair that could use attention or I have a dash cover if you prefer. The body is in great shape with a few minor dings and some typical wear. All the gauges and headlights work as they should. Have the original jack and a spare. Most importantly the drive train is original to the car and I have a COA. The car runs exceptionally well! I am told, the engine was rebuilt by Force Racing here in Kansas City in the mid 1990s. The car has 3 minor modification updates that include a stainless steel exhaust, updated cam tensioners and a short throw shifter (have the original). It is riding on a great set of Bridgestone Potenzas 205/55/R16. I also have another full set of tires and wheels to go with the care. There are hand written notes from the previous owner that lays out the history over the 15+ years he owned it. There are no physical receipts from the mechanic however. Believe the mileage to be correct but cannot guarantee it. If your looking for an original 914-6 you found it. I welcome any legitimate inspections as you will not be disappointed.This is a GREAT car! Also have the owners manual and cover. Have additional pictures of the undercarriage and suspension coming.
