Description of 1966 Porsche 911 Speedster

On Mar-12-15 at 10:13:09 PDT. seller added the following information:I just now received a letter from the man that started this project over seventeen years ago-"The car was purchased by me in 1997 from the owner of Gingerman Speedway in Southhaven Michigan. It was parked in an old wooden floor railway depot. I rebuilt the carburetors and drove the car. The engine ran well and shifted smooth in all gears. All electrics in good shape. I always loved the Speedster 356 so I decided to turn the 911 coupe into a speester and after months of fabricating and thought it somehow got put on the back burner and sat for seventeen years at my shop. The car has been fabricated in all metal rear coachwork and a three inch drop retro windshield. I recently pulled out the car and painted the rear half of the car and finished the rear decklid. The car is one of a kind someone who buys the car will trade business cards at the stoplights ! This car is extremly solid and believed to be from Alabama and belonged to a doctor.
