New Page 1 1971 PORSCHE 911T You have found one of very few 'babied' vintage air cooled Porsche'sthat are left in the world today. Most were raced, abused or have rotted away over time. This outstanding original California car has recently receiveda 'show quality' restoration, the photographs below do not do the car the justice it deserves.This is a matching numbers car and comes with the original warranty and service book showing it was initially sold in Los Angeles California.This is an incredibly rust free original southwestern U.S. example and completely accident free 911 with an original belly pan that is devoid of any dents or damage, a difficult find all in itself. The body has been painstakingly refinished in it's original and very uncommon Burgundy ('Red 2424' color code).The paint quality is beyond exceptional and every piece on the exterior of the car is either new or has been re-chromedto the highest standard. All lights, lenses, rubber trim and bright-work pieces are new and of course have been replaced with original Porsche parts. The interior has been completely restored using all proper German materials to concours standards. Dash and door panels are new factory Porsche parts as well.All interior work was done by Scott Peterson, a renown Porsche Marque expert. There is a 'replica' of the radio in the dash, there will be an original style Blaupunkt radio included in the bonnet. The mechanical restoration consisted of a full 'engine out service' with new clutch, tensioner upgrades, new exhaust, ignition wires and plugs, etc.The service was doneby Beck's European of Scottsdale, Arizona, a highly regarded Porsche expert.All suspension components and engine compartment ha been fully detailed and checked over as well.This car retains the drivability and solid feeling of a well taken care of original car and it has just had 25 test miles since the completionof the restoration. Cosmetically it can only be considered 'show quality' and will be a contender at any concours event. This beautiful Porsche drives wonderfully and looks every bit as clean as a new one.As we all know the market has adjusted immensely so considering the cost of first, just finding a great, solid rust free original car, then performing a high caliber restoration such as this, you could not achieve that feat for much less than $100k. Quite simply put, this car cannot be replicated for anywhere near the reserve price.Do not do yourself the injustice of missing this opportunity to own an exceptionally high quality 911T that will easily retain or increase in value.
