*. ***** Here is a 1972 Porsche 914 1.7. The original paint code is 98 which is a custom paint code. I did some research & it may have been the Gold metallic? This was a special order color! This car was in a garage in Nebraska since 2000, prior to that it was in Iowa but originally from California which is the reason it seems to be a very solid car. This car rolls and steers (Does NOT Run). The ignition switch is out and I have all the parts in a bag. It may need a new switch? It looks as thou it has been sprayed white at some point & then guards red. The paint does look good but has some flaws. I think it was painted red in early 2000 and was running till around 2004, but has been parked since then. It needs a battery and a good tune-up, the gas does not smell bad. I checked and the engine does turn over so I take the previous owner at his word that it was just parked in the garage and to get it back on the road it needs a little work and elbow grease. The paint looks good overall. It looks like some bubbling on the trunk (Could put a tail on and cover it?) and there is some bubbling just below the sails.(I am happy to send close up pics if you contact me).The rockers look straight and I see the jack points are still intact so I think the longs are good but not positive on that. The glass looks all good and is original. Hell hole looks pretty solid as well. The car will need some love before getting back on the road but a great candidate for restoration or freshen it up and getting it running to enjoy it. It does have 4 custom alloy wheels. (The yellow spare is on the back. I do have the 4th Alloy wheel & the tire for it (not on the wheel)).It looks like it has the front factory upgraded sway bar kit. Also has extra aftermarket gauges just below the dash. Evenhas the factory jack! This seems to be a good car to start with and a good investment car, These 914's are becoming pretty sought after & are a alot of fun! The car comes with some papers and has a clean Nebraska title it has been signed and dated this month(September) by the previous owner. I purchased this car for parts and was going to strip it down but I decided not to since it is too nice & complete to strip down. It will need some parts as you see in the pics as some things are broken or missing, so please keep that in mind that it is going to need things. PLEASE Look at all the pictures closely & ask questions if you are unsure of anything. There appears to have been a small fender bender as I see some evidence in the front trunk & the front outer cover under the bumper (I can send pics). It is missing the lower front valance. There does not seam to be any major damage & was repaired well on the outside when it was repainted. I have lots of pictures and I can send more to you. Also, If you would like larger pictures, Please let me know & I will send them to you. I have not seen one this original in a long time. This car would make a great 914-6 conversion as well!! Clean Title in hand! I can provide a Bill of sale if needed. This is listed with a Very Low Reserve. These cars are awesome to cruise with the Targa top off. Don't let this 914 Get away!
