Description of 1974 Rolls-Royce Corniche Corniche

1974 Rolls Royce Corniche Convertible.
Body: The body on this car is in poor condition, here is rust in the rocker panels lower front fenders and lower rear fenders. The tail lights have broken lenses and one front lens is broken, he licence plate lights and backup lights are not installed but are included. All the glass is good, he convertible top is in poor condition. The rear bumper rubber impact strip is missing, here is a dent in the right front fender. The paint is in poor condition. The car is originally a yellow car with a black top. In my opinion all the panels can be repaired rather than replaced with the exception of the rocker panels.
Interior: The interior is complete with no parts missing, he wood needs to be refinished but is otherwise in decent shape. the seat faces front and rear need to be refinished but thebalanceof the seats and door panels are in good condition. The dash pad is very good. The gauges all are in working order at the time the add is being placed including the tachometer (this is one of very few Rolls Royce cars with a tachometer and was discontinued in later Corniche cars). The carpets are worn but the lambs wool overlays are included and in good condition.. All controls switches and buttons are included. There is no convertible top boot.
Mechanically: This car has been parked for about 15 years or maybe more. I have started the car to move it around the storage building but thats about it. It will need to go through the normalproceduresfor a car the has been sitting for that long. The brakes are not working as they should. The tires are marginal at best, he power windows and top work sometimes.
Over All: Good Corniche Convertibles bring $60,000+, verage ones are closer to 45,000.00, ou almost never have theopportunityto buy one that needs a complete restoration as these are one of the few cars that you can restore and not end up have more in it than it is worth. My plan was to restore this car with the body, op and interior colour that I would have ordered from the factory if I was buying new. More importantly if I restored it I would know what quality the work performed was instead of risking buying one that someone else had done the work on. If your looking for a high end classic convertible that is worth doing and when completed is elegant, espected and very rewarding to own, hen this may be the right car for you.
Reason for Selling: I have asizeablecollection of cars including a few more Rolls Royces, have reached the age that I havedecidedto downsize and have been selling my cars as the storagebuildingsthey are in are sold.
Location:The car is located just outside of Salmon Arm British Columbia a few hours from the Washingtonborder. I canhelpfind a shipper and help with the paperworkif the car is being shipped to the US as I am familiar withthe process, ut I will only do this for thewinningbidder as it takes a lot of calls and emails to get the best price. I can also arrange for overseas shipment. If thewinningbider is from the US I can have to car shipped to Seattle Washington (at the buyers cost) if that is a moreconvenientpickup location.

Other:This car is sold on an Ontario title. The odometer reading is believed to be original.
