Description of 1964 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud --

1964 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 3Radwan Classic Cars is pleased to offer this stunning 1964 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 3. The Silver Cloud III was the model of choice for the era's business and entertainment elite, particularly in the important American marketplace. In the 1980's the car enjoyed resurgence in popularity as it reappeared in the humorous Grey Poupon Mustard TV ads further cementing the cars iconic status. This very late production 1964 Silver Cloud III Saloon, chassis # LSDW35 is... a stunning, well preserved, restored and fascinating original left hand drive example of a classic Rolls Royce. It's first owner was none other than Richard Bernard "Red" Skelton, the beloved actor, artist, comedian, and Radio/TV personality who was also known for his extensive Rolls Royce collection. With just three owners from new, it is finished in dignified Black with Connolly Burgundy Hides and complimented by desirable features including Mouton sheepskin floormats, rear picnic tables, air conditioning, and a rear lighter. Other notable items include added rear seat air conditioning, dual dash storage compartments, original Blauplunkt radio, plus a custom stereo system including XM Radio, (hidden as to not compromise the originality of the car), original owners manual, and dual amber fog lights. It is in excellent mechanical condition and both air units blow extremely cold while allowing the car to operate with no overheating issues.A rare car in fabulous condition showing a mere 40,500 original miles, has limited ownership and celebrity provenance. This is an opportunity for a committed Rolls Royce collector to own a piece of history.
