Description of 1993 Saab 900

Putting my Saab 900 turbo convertible up for sale, this is not a car I wanted to part with but my transportation needs have changed... This is the last of the beloved 900 series, this convertible is a 2.0 16 valve model with an automatic gearbox. This particular 900 was originally owned by an older lady from Illinois and was brought to California by the last owner, making me the third. The Saab is an excellent shape, drives straight, stops on a dime (factory ABS), and is surprisingly quick. Compared to many of the 900s out there this car is really clean, the interior is in excellent shape-seats, console, door cards, dash surround, glove box, wheel and carpet are pristine. All gauges work with accuracy and electrical works. Did i mention A/C Blows ICE cold. In addition, all the windows work and the top functions as it should. The factory radio and equalizer work, and i suppose I should mention the car comes with a factory remote key fob and the rare factory parade boot cover in trunk. Trunk carpeting is flawless and original spare, jack and tool kit are in it. The drive train is in great shape, motor sounds good and pulls hard. Trans shifts nicely and the car will boost up to full boost and idle smooth no problem at all. It also runs ice cold temps in the middle of summer out here (100F+) Just a great driving little car.. The exterior is nice and paint looks really good as you can see from photos. A navy blue pinstripe was added at some point to match the top. All factory body kit is pretty straight and complete. No fading anywhere and car looks good from every angle. The 3 spoke wheels are in excellent shape and are wrapped in Kumho rubber. Also worth mentioning it passed CA emissions testing with ease. Only cons I can think of include a couple (pictured in trunk area) rust spots, the top dash pad has a few cracks and the cars got a leak. Overall its a wonderful car to get around town in and a nice example of a classic 900...recent work includes: Rebuilt distributor, All new ignition components, K&N performance filter, battery heat shielding, R134 Freon charge, an alignment and tie rod ends, and completely rebuilt Turbocharger. I wanted to include Everything and be Honest about where the car is perfect and what still needs to be addressed. I think that covers everything- Its a great little car. Sold as is with a clean California title in my name. Comes with a hardcover Bentley service manual. any questions just ask.
