Description of 1966 Shelby COBRA

Very nice 1966 Shelby Cobra Re-Creation. The body is a Midstates high quality body kit. painted Amber Mica with silver stripes. The engine is a period correct Ford 427. The 427. high nickel with screw in frost plugs and it has dove oil modifications. The engine is built with a steel crank. Eagle rods. and Wisco pistons. The cylinder heads are aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPM that have been ported and polished. Complete roller engine. Comp roller camshaft and Harland sharp roller rockers. The ignition system is all MSD. spark plug wires. MSD distributor. MSD 6A Box. and a MSD Rev. Limiter. It has a Dove tunnel wedge aluminum intake. with a Barry Grant 950 CFM Street Demon Carburetor. Barry Grant electric fuel system #8. complete with Turkey Pan. Aluminum radiator with electric fan. also has a coolant recovery tank. Heat wrapped headers and Chrome side pipes. This car has a 3 quart Marosso accumulator. and a front line lock kit installed. The engine has been dynode at 486 HP at 5700 RPM. The transmission is a Tremec TKO 600 5 speed. with a Center Force clutch. It has a Ford 9" rear end. modular steel center. with 3. 89 gear ratio and 4 link coil over. The axels are Sprang 31 spline with a Detroit locker. It has four wheel disc brakes and adjustable coil over shocks. Shelby Cobra 17" wheels. 8" x 17" front. 9. 5" x 17" rear and Nitto tires. 14" Cobra Replica steering wheel. and VDO gauges. This car was just professionally built and completed in 2007. And was just finished being refurbished this week. The car has never been raced. and only has 3500 miles on it.
