Description for Shelby Cobra 1964

FIA Papers included with sale.
1964 and 1965 USRRC (United States Road Race of Champions) seasons, arroll Shelby created six 289 race cars, hich are reputed to have 440 to 450 bhp. To get that power to the ground, he once-svelte AC body was made much more aggressive - with wide fender flares that captured the imagination of race fans everywhere and became a feature on later 427s. This is one of the six USRRC 289s campaigned by the Carroll Shelby team. It is also one of only two of the USRRC Cobras built with dual side pipes on each side of the car.
CSX 2513 was restored by Mike McCluskey in 1990 and still looks as good as it did when it wasfinished.
The car was last owned by Jim Farley of Ford Motor Corp. who had gone through the car making race ready for any historic race event. Get in it and go racing.......
The car is currently titled in California and comes with FIA papers.
