1989 Shelby Dakota, #837, purchased from original owner. 18,890 mi. 1 of 860 red Shelbys built. If you are unfamiliar with the Shelby Dakotas I suggest you do some research, they're pretty cool. This vehicle is in excellent original condition. Completely rust and dent free body. Some rock chips on nose and hood. Siting on it's original Goodyear Eagle GT+4 tires. Original paint, exhaust, brakes, belts, hoses, wires, air filter, radio, and Shelby floor mats. Decals replaced with quality Phoenix Graphics set. Fuel injected 318 is numbers matching, entire engine compartment is 100% correct and complete. Interior is in excellent condition. The seats are perfect, as is the carpet. The dash is beautiful except for some small cracks, fading, and a patch of adhesive from where a compass was attached as shown in pics. All glass is good. The bed is in very good condition, some scratches and a couple small dings.Wheels have clear coat peeling and center caps have some scuffing and fading. Have all manuals and original bill of sale. Everything works on this vehicle. Fresh oil, coolant, spark plugs and Mopar battery. Trans shifts up and down perfect. Chassis is tight and solid. Tires could probably use a fresh balance. A/C system works but needs a recharge. A.I.R. pump bearing a little noisy, $125 part. Spare tire does not hold air. I have the Bosch foglight covers but they are faded. The new decals are excellent, however where it says Shelby on the side you can see where the paint is a little brighter. Overall this is a wonderfully original, low mileage example of an increasingly sought after vehicle. Vehicle is being sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee.
