Description of 1954 Studebaker

This Studebaker is an ex drag car raced in the Los Vegas area for 7 years with a blown big block Chevy. It is now street legal with a crate motor by Blueprint Engines purchased form Jegs High Performance (have receipts). IT HAS A TUBE FRAME THAT WAS PROFESSIONALLY BUILT. A ROLL CAGE AND FUEL CELL. It is driven on the street now. It is tubbed as it ran drag slicks but has 7-inch wide wheels now but could become a Pro Street car if desired. Has a track locator bar and adjustable ladder bars in rear and a Ford rearend. with coil over shocks. Car rides like a Caddy. Has front power disc brakes. a GM cross flow radiator with twin electric fans a GM tilt wheel a competition tach. Has racing bucket seats and Crow belts. The steel floor and firewall have replaced the stock Studebaker floor and firewall. Has an HEI distributor and new Edelbrock carb. Has a electric fuel pump with fuel pressure regulator and fuel pressure gauge. The body is rust free and has been recently painted Dodge truck silver. The vents in front of the doors have been filled as well as the gas door removed and filled. These cars rule Bonneville and El Mirage dry lake as well as the drags but this car is suited for both as well a taking it to car shows. I have never seen a hood engineering like the steel hood on this car and is designed to go 300 miles per hour. Not another Studebaker this one. It is truly a hot rod Stude. far. far from a stocker.
