Description of 1959 Studebaker Model E

I have a good Kansas title for the Studebaker. The Studebaker does not run, but it rolls very easy. I am able to assist a buyer in loading the truck. Please ask any and all questions you may have before placing a bid. I want the buyer to feel comfortable about their purchase, please ask any questions.

From what I understand this model of truck had a short production run. This is a Studebaker 4E40-171 with a fiberglass grill and a 289 ci V8 motor (stuck). It has a 4 speed transmission with a 2 speed rear axle and it looks like the splitter is newer, but can't say for sure. All in all the Studebaker is a pretty complete truck including the tire changing tools, hazard markers, and PTO system. It is equipped with a PTO and once had a grain dump bed on it. The doors open and close easily and the windows go up and down, but are a bit stiff. For being a 1959 it isn't beat to death. The back window was broken when I bought it and I went ahead and removed the rest of glass so no one got hurt from it. The Studey is missing it's generator. She's a tough looking truck that would be scary in people's rear view mirrors if it was fast enough. Most all of the original paint has been cooked off by the hot Kansas sun. It looks like it had a white roof and a red body.

The Studebaker will fit on a 20 FT Car trailer and I am able to help out with loading the truck on the new owners trailer. I am also able to deliver the truck at a rate of $1.61/Loaded Mile on a 2014 trailer. I will deliver to anywhere in the 48 states, and freight costs will be paid in full before my truck leaves the driveway. The delivery fee would be calculated from my zip code (67218) to the drop off address of the new owner.
