Description of 1980 Subaru Sambar

1991 Subaru Sambar SDX-SC automatic and SUPERCHARGED. EVERYTHING works. Will deliver between Portland, OR and Bellingham, WA. Local pickup greatly preferred. Brand New timing belt (MITSUBOSHI), supercharger belt (BANDO), water pump (AISIN), and timing belt tensioner (KOYO). These are all the OEM parts manufacturers! Newer matching Dunlop tires. Very clean interior for one of these kinds of trucks. AC blows cold. Heater blows hot. Brakes have no vibration or problems. Transmission oil just changed with the correct genuine SUBARU fluid. The only one of the mini trucks to feature 4 cylinders instead of 3 is the Subaru Sambar "Clover Four" engine (4 valves per cylinder), therefore this truck idles and runs more smoothly, especially at higher RPM on the highway. Back in 1991, 99% of these trucks employed a carburetor still, but this one is fuel-injected. Truck easily reaches highway speeds because of the supercharger. Aft-mounted engine provides for significantly lower cabin noise than any of the other Japanese mini "K" trucks. New NGK spark plugs within 1,000 miles. Comes with the Japanese service/owner's manuals and complete OEM tool kit and rubber floor mats. Four-wheel independent suspension, no torn CV boots. Because of the rear mounted, boosted engine, rear-drive, and all-wheel independent suspension, it is affectionately known as "Porsche of the farm road" in Japan. Truck is a true quarter-ton truck, rated to carry 350 kg (770 pounds). Bed sides are removable to create a true flat bed configuration, or the truck is also designed to be operated with the bed sides and tail gate simply folded down. An overall grade 3.5 at auction in Japan, a grade higher than that is unheard of for a K truck. Interior grade of "C" means not new, but nothing wrong with it. 90% of the K truck interiors are grade "D." Feel free to ask questions.
