Possibly the cleanest, most original Samurai left on the planet. I have been into these little rigs since the 90's and I am pretty confident when I say you won't see another like this. The original paint still shines like new, probably better than new the way it was cared for. Just two previous owners. Purchased by the original owner in Lansing Michigan and stored at their winter home in Florida before moving to Arizona in 2004. My neighbor of 15 years purchased this Samurai as he saw some of the ones I had over the years and he grew to really like them so he wanted one as well. I saw it in the garage of the original owner just by chance and was able to facilitate the sale to my neighbor. He purchased it 7 years ago and it never spent a night out of his garage. My neighbor is now in his 70's and does not feel safe driving the Samurai any longer so I purchased it from him a few weeks ago with plans to keep it but unexpected repairs to my home require me to sell it to free up some cash. I will have it titled in my name before the auction closes so currently still in my neighbor's name with a clean and clear notarized AZ title. Zero rust. Immaculate throughout except the driver's seat bottom which has come apart at the seams and one seam that is separating at the drivers right shoulder bolster which could be restitched. The remaining original interior upholstery is nearly perfect. Original carpet still in excellent shape. Brand new Smittybilt top. Newer tires with very few miles. AC is still the original R12 and was working until last year so it needs at least a charge but everything is there and never been messed with, just not blowing ice cold. The 1.3 L EFI engine just purrs and everything works. Every bulb, switch etc. Original Clarion stereo still sounds great. I have all the owner's manuals, some receipts of repairs from both owners through the years, original sales contract and window sticker. 4WD works as it should but this thing has never been off road and it shows. Even the overhead light and door buzzer still work. Only modifications are the factory horn was replaced with a louder horn (Original comes with it) and he put a cut off switch hidden on the car to prevent theft but done very tastefully. Take a look at the plastics, the lenses, the roll bar padding and it's almost like new! Original Kotto headlights look new. Just an amazing Samurai ready for a new collector. This in NOT the one to buy if you plan on making it a crawler as I'm sure there are not many left, if any, in this condition.Obviously a 32 year old car is not sold with a warranty and this is sold "as is" with no warranty expressed or implied. Ask all questions before bidding and inspections are welcome as this Samurai looks better in person then in the pictures. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close with balance due within 7 days. I can store the Samurai for a reasonable time in the garage to allow for shipping. You can fly in and drive it home as well as it runs great. All funds must clear prior to taking possession of the Samurai.On Jun-19-22 at 09:16:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that the Samurai also comes with a factory bra with the Samurai name embossed in the bra. Not sure if it was a dealer purchase but has been with the Samurai since the original owner and I have never seen another like it. This would protect the front of the Samurai if you used it as a tow vehicle.
