Hello and Thanks for checking out our auction for this FJ40. This truck was sponsor built in tandem with a company well known for its transmition splitter systems called Advanced Adapters. If you are familiar with them you will recognize this truck from many of their advertising catalogs and magazine articles. This truck is a no cost spared 4x4 capable of some conquering some very serious terrain and winning the hearts of anyone that comes in eye shot of it. This is a well sorted and rare ambulance door FJ. We have receipts going back to the 1990s. The current owner took this truck to the level that it is today having the interior redone with new Rhino lined and painted floors carpet, inyl and headliner. He installed a Tuff box with a CB and new stereo system. The dash was completely rewired and refit with NOS gauges. The body was sent out for dent repairs and a full paint job. The suspension was replaced steering dampers added to accommodate the 36 inch tires. A bespoke bolted and welded roll cage that doubles as an air tank is fit into the interior. A set of 3 undercarriage lights have been installed into chassis of this truck. This makes night time 4 wheeling, epairs or hanging on the beach very enjoyable and useful. There is a 9500lb winch on the front of the FJ. The current engine has a touch over 18,000 miles on it and has recently had all gaskets and spark plugs replaced. It starts without a care and runs flawlessly. You can put this truck locked in 4WD L in 1 st gear and it will climb a 10 degree hill with no throttle at all!
