Selling a clean 1963 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. California vehicle and has very little rust. Body panels and floor pans are rust free. Modified and not original but frame and body VIN matches. Has a newly-rebuilt Chevy V8 small block 305 (less than 100 miles on engine) with aluminum Performer manifold and new Weber 4 barrel carburetor and fuel lines. Aluminum radiator and new water pump. Chevy Turbo 350 3 speed automatic transmission with new pan and filter. Optima AGM battery. New engine gauges. All vehicle wiring is new with new labeled fuse panel. All five front tie rod ends are new. New steering damper and steering stabilizer. New parking brake shoes and seal. Brakes have been serviced. Front seat frames have been powder coated and reupholstered. New Bikini top. Tires are 31" and in decent condition. Has a receiver hitch on the front and rear with tow wiring 7 blade receptacle and rear utility light. Has 12 volt accessory power ports and added courtesy lights. Original instrument panel Temp and Charge gauges not working (the panel needs a rework-could use one of those Dakota Digital gauge set). Some minor rust across rear below doors. I have done most of the work on the vehicle and am selling the vehicle for the owner who is a friend (he can also be contacted). The vehicle was used for years as a get-around for several school camps on Catalina island and was brought over to mainland California by the owner's family and has been in their family for at least 30 years. The vehicle has been garaged for most of its life. I have a service manual, wner's manual, nd a few extra parts for engine. Truck runs great. I can deliver the vehicle on a flatbed trailer within a 300 mile radius for a fee.
Besides being a 52 year old truck, hese are what the truck is missing:Hard or soft top (has bikini top), oors, tereo (has leads for easy hookup), eater, indshield wiper arms (tried to locate a pair without success), nob for wiper, ront hub caps, ome decals and emblems.
