Description of 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser

Well. I hate to do it. but. I literally just bought this TLC to use as my daily worktruck with intentions of doing a total restoration gradually replacing parts and fixing the rusty bits as needed. luckily. I ended up inheriting a 1996 Ford F150 with 62K miles on it. no joke. which is in great shape and won't need any work done. Anyway. I can't keep both. so I've decided to do the right thing and let someone who knows what they are doing take this cruiser to the next level. I've copied the original listing below. so if you've been looking for a low mileage TLC recently. you may have seen this one for sale. 1989 FJ62 in great condition. Super low mileage (112. 00) 2 owner vehicle with clean interior. no cracks in dash. working power windows. new tires. new battery. & a clear title. The power antenna is bent but the motor works and the pictures show some surface rust in the usually spots (drivers door. bottom of tailgate and wheel wells near the mudflaps). Runs well. all electrical components work. as well as AC. heat. power windows. etc. ). This could be a daily driver or a high end restoration for anyone who wants to fix the surface rust and give it a shiny new paint job. You won't find this truck with 112. 00 miles anywhere! No reserve auction - so highest bidder wins. Feel free to ask any questions you'd like. Good luck! All books. toolkit and even the original window sticker is included. I've driven the cruiser around and mechanically. it runs pretty good. I haven't spent the money to get it checked out and I'm not a mechanic. so unfortunately. that's about all I know. I've owned about 10 Land Rovers. but this is my first Toyota Land Cruiser. so I'm not much help when it comes to these trucks and I know the two manufacturer's couldn't be more different. I was hoping to use this TLC as my jumpstart into Land Cruisers. as I've always heard they are much more reliable than Land Rovers. Realistically. the interior is in really good shape. even the driver side seat bolster. which I usually see torn on these trucks is in pretty good shape with almost no damage. All the eletrics works as described in the original listing. the heat and ac work pretty good too. PLEASE REALIZE THIS IS A +25 YEAR OLD TRUCK. so what you get is what you see. Please don't buy this truck and expect it to be perfect. It will need some work and you will need to invest some money in it. but with the low miles this truck could be restored and be a worthy keeper for years or you could sell it. properly restored examples are going for $15K to $20K easliy. Once the auction ends. it's yours. no refunds. no negotiations. Don't buy this truck. then take it to your mechanic. brother. uncle. drinking buddy. etc. and tell me the truck needs a new this or new that and expect payment. it's not gonna happen. please ask all your questions or do your inspections before bidding. Again. this is a NO RESERVE auction. so the high bidder wins. I haven't even registered the vehicle. so you'll get the clear signed title from the original seller. Please make sure you have funds available prior to bidding. If you have "0" feedback. I will cancel your bid. unless you contact me first. I am going to list the truck locally. so I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. Thanks and good luck!
