1971 Toyota Land Cruiser up for sale... Arizona BJ40 4 speed diesel with custom turbo.Frame on restoration, Icon look alike at 1/4 the price,I have about $60k invested. Mechanical - BJ40 4 cylinder factory engine fully restored about 500 miles ago. Custom turbo built especially for this engine, which gives it a nice boost in HP. Interior Exterior - New interior bucket seats and back seats, new gas tank, cold air conditioning, new radiator, new tires, with ICON like wheels. Interior and exterior body removed and body replaced with alloy panels, then coated with Rhino Skin paint both inside and out so it can NEVER rust. Full removable top painted with Rhino Skin as well, with all new glass windows. Steering box completely rebuilt, body lifted about 3 inches, Has Old Man Emu suspension. Custom swing out tailgate with monster jack and full spare tire. Rhino painted full hardtop with ambulance doors. Completely waterproof. Since I have owned it in the last 2 years, I had the wiring completely changed out for marine style waterproof harness. I didn't care for the sharkskin body paint, so I had it professionally repainted OD green 200 miles ago. Also had the speedo replaced with OEM, as the old one just didn't light up as well at night. New LED headlights to replace the old ones that don't shine at all at night. Put in a bluetooth stereo with Marine Speakers in. All of this done in the last 200 miles. Quite fast for a 4 cylinder diesel, does 70 mph with no problem. Interior is in great shape as well. Brand new roll bars with padded covers. If you are looking for a clean reliable BJ40, this is it. I will include a power top winch (still in box) to mount in your garage for taking the top off at the push of a button, bikini and canvas top, half doors, and tailgate in the sale.
